Systems
Dispette 2
This is the modern version of the original 'Dispette', which has been
manufactured to Westergren and ICSH standards. It incorporates many
safety features including an overflow chamber and a pierceable filling
chamber cap designed to prevent spillage of blood during use and
disposal. The filling reservoir is pre-filled with citrate or saline,
has an enlarged mixing area and several other 'user friendly'
innovations.
Micro-Dispette
This system is designed for paediatrics and cases where a full sample of
blood cannot be obtained. Only 0.24ml blood is required, however tests
show good correlation with Westergren methods.

ESR stands
Guest Medical offer two ESR stands: a simple orange 10 place stand and a blue 5
place stand.
The orange stand needs to be positioned carefully on a flat surface away from draughts or
direct sunlight.
The blue plastic wrap-around stand is designed to reduce the effects of
two of the technical variables affecting ESR testing, namely temperature
and the verticality of the tube.
